It sorta worked in Warband but here it looks a little out of place.
It's a little weird to see the overall appearance of the game improve this much while the UIs and various menus still look just kinda frumpy. While the graphics are much nicer, the menus have that sort of minimalist/we just need a UI feel. Right down to the sorta classic indie jank that has always hung around this game.
Played maybe an hour, did the tutorial, I'm inclined to agree with this statement.
